New Delhi, August — Mercurius Advisory Services is enhancing its commitment to workplace safety and well-being with the introduction of its in-house Emergency Response Team (ERT). This initiative is a strong affirmation of the company’s proactive approach to supporting and protecting its employees, making preparedness a core part of its operational culture.
The ERT plays a key role in responding to critical incidents, including fire hazards, medical emergencies, and environmental situations. Its formation underscores the company’s commitment to building a workplace that is alert, responsible, and fully equipped for emergencies.
“The safety of our people is at the heart of everything we do. The ERT is a meaningful step toward ensuring everyone feels supported and secure every single day” said Vivek Srivastava, Head of Human Resources, Mercurius.
About the ERT Team
At the core of this initiative is a group of trained individuals who serve as the first point of contact during emergencies. Two representatives from each floor — one male and one female, have been chosen for their ability to stay composed, act responsibly, and take charge when it matters most.
Since its launch, the ERT program has steadily progressed through a series of structured training sessions and preparedness activities. Members have been oriented with emergency exits and critical building layouts, trained in the use of fire extinguishers, and equipped with first aid and CPR knowledge. For easy identification, all ERT members have been provided with green jackets, to make sure help is always visible and close by.
In addition to understanding emergency protocols for situations like fires and earthquakes, the team also holds ongoing monthly meetings to strengthen coordination and reinforce response strategies. This consistent focus on preparedness ensures the company has a calm, capable, and reliable team ready to act in critical situations.
A Shared Commitment to Safety
At Mercurius, we believe safety isn’t just a policy but a team effort. With the ERT in place, we are better equipped to support each other during emergencies, ensuring a safer workplace for all.
This initiative marks an important chapter in our internal operations, one that reflects our continued commitment to a workplace where every individual feels secure, seen, and supported.
