Empowering communities through compassion and care during the coldest months
As temperatures drop across North India, team Mercurius stepped up to support vulnerable communities by organizing a Blanket Donation Drive in December. The initiative of Mercurius donation drive was part of it’s ongoing CSR program, focused on distributing warm blankets to the homeless and underserved families in and around Delhi NCR.
A Gesture of Warmth and Humanity
More than 300 high-quality blankets were distributed by Mercurius employees and volunteers across shelters, roadside communities, and slum clusters. The effort was aimed at providing immediate relief to those sleeping without protection during harsh winter nights, while also reinforcing the company’s ethos of community-first action.
“No one should have to choose between hunger and warmth. Through this initiative, we aimed to bring not just comfort, but dignity and hope to those who need it most,” said Yitesh Bhalla, Director, Mercurius.
Employees as Change-Makers
The success of the drive was driven by active participation from Mercurius employees, who not only donated funds and materials but also helped in identifying high-need areas and distributing the blankets personally. The event turned into a moment of shared purpose and compassion, uniting the Mercurius team in service beyond business.
